Welcome to At-Promise Virtual.
“The at-promise view focuses on capitalizing potential and broadening possibilities. It builds on a vantage point of strengths. It contrasts with the idea of labeling communities that are primarily in need of intervention as at-risk (Marshall, 1998). “

Do I have to withdraw from my home school to complete courses with APV?
APV is a year-round pay-by-credit-recovery program. You do not have to withdraw from your home school to make up a credit with APV. If you do withdraw, you will need to reenroll with your home school for the credit earned at APV to be added to your official transcript.
How much does APV charge to recover a full credit?
Students at APV pay in advance by half-credit. Each half-credit course cost $50.00. The student will enroll in a half-credit course, finish the half-credit, and enroll in the next half-credit needed.
How do you ensure the student who is enrolled is doing the work and not copying from the internet?
APV students work under the supervision of an assigned teacher. The student must install Classroom Cloud supervision software on the home computer that the student will use to complete the course. Students must submit guided notes and/or other written assignments to the teacher to get an unlock of a mastery test, End of unit exams will be taken under virtual supervision with the teacher.
What are your operating hours?
Students can work on unlocked classwork 24-7. We are open from 10 AM to 5 PM, Tuesday to Saturday for unlocks and supervised test taking. We’re closed on Sunday. Holiday hours may vary, so please call or check our website for specific information on those dates.
How long does it take to finish a half-credit course?
Completion times are generated by course selection and student work ethic. Students must earn mastery in each unit and on the end of course assessment to complete the course. Each course provided a 45-day window to complete the course.
What happens if I do not complete the course in 45-days?
Each course provides a time-line for completion. Students will be encouraged by the teacher to stay on track for completion of the course within the 45-day window. The student can not begin another course until completed. If the 45-days expire without course completion, the student will be dropped from the course and the cost of the course will be forfeited. A student nearing completion may be granted a 15-day extension at the teacher’s discretion.
How many courses can I complete at APV?
APV is a credit-recover program. You can retake any course with a “D” grade on your transcript and/or any course that you did not complete “on time” for a standard high school diploma. If you should graduate in the current school year, you can take as many credits as necessary to complete you course requirements.
What if I need to pass an exit exam for graduation?
APV does not provide exit exams for graduation. The student will need to work with his or her home school to take exit exams and/or sign up independantly for the ACT or SAT exams and submit these scored to the student’s home school. APV does provide test preparation software to the APV student enrolled in credit recover free of charge.
